Ready-made furniture is built to standard sizes and kept in stock or built in batches, while custom-made furniture is built to your specific measurements and preferences from scratch.
Ready-made furniture
Ready-made pieces are generally available sooner since they're built to common sizes we already produce regularly. They're a good fit when a standard size genuinely works for your room.
Custom-made furniture
Custom pieces are built to your exact room dimensions, chosen wood, carving detail, and finish. This takes longer — usually a few extra weeks — but solves problems standard sizing can't, like an awkward alcove or an unusually large or small room.
Side-by-side
Turnaround time: ready-made is faster. Fit: custom fits your exact space; ready-made may leave gaps or feel cramped. Cost: custom typically costs somewhat more for the tailored work. Choice: custom gives full control over wood, size, and finish.
When custom is worth the wait
If you're furnishing an oddly-shaped room, a very small or very large space, or want a specific wood-and-finish combination not in our standard range, custom is the better route.
How to decide
Measure your space first. If a standard size fits comfortably, ready-made saves time. If it doesn't, tell us your dimensions on WhatsApp and we'll quote a custom build.
