Furnishing a home in the G-sectors
Islamabad's G-sectors (G-6 through G-15) are a mix of older residential plots, newer housing schemes, and a growing number of apartment buildings, particularly in G-10, G-11, and G-13. What furniture works best really depends on whether you're in a house or an apartment.
What's popular here
For apartments, compact dressing tables, 4-seater dining sets, and space-efficient TV consoles are the most common orders — sized to fit smaller rooms without overwhelming them. For houses in the sector, full bedroom sets and 6-seater dining sets are more typical, closer to what you'd see in the F-sectors.
Delivery logistics
The G-sectors fall within our regular delivery zone, so most orders are scheduled within 4-7 days. For apartment buildings, it's worth checking your building's elevator dimensions in advance for larger pieces like wardrobes — we can advise on knockdown delivery if a piece won't fit in the lift.
A practical note for apartments
If you're furnishing a smaller apartment, ask about our compact sizing options — several of our dressing tables, coffee tables, and TV consoles are available in reduced footprints that still keep the same carving detail as the standard sizes.
Before you order
Measure doorways and hallway turns before ordering a full bedroom set for an apartment — some older G-sector buildings have narrower interior doors than newer construction, which affects whether a wardrobe needs to be delivered pre-assembled or built on-site.
