Why the size difference matters more than it looks
A king bed is only about a foot wider than a queen, but in a standard bedroom that extra foot often eats into walking space on both sides — it's worth measuring before you fall for a king-size in a showroom photo.
Queen size beds
At roughly 5 feet by 6.5 feet, a queen bed fits comfortably in most standard Islamabad bedrooms, typically 11x11 feet and up, while still leaving room for a side table or dresser.
King size beds
At roughly 6 feet by 6.5 feet, a king bed needs a genuinely spacious bedroom — usually 12x12 feet or larger — to avoid the room feeling crowded.
Side-by-side
Room size needed: queen fits standard rooms; king needs a larger master bedroom. Price: king beds cost more due to the larger frame and mattress. Sleeping space: king gives noticeably more shoulder room for two people.
Which one to choose
If your bedroom is a standard size or you're a single sleeper, queen is usually the more practical and cost-effective choice. If you have a large master bedroom and prioritize sleeping space, king is worth it.
Measure before you order
