Start with your dining room's dimensions
Before choosing seat count, measure your dining room. You need clearance of at least 3 feet on all sides of the table for chairs to pull out comfortably.
The 6-seater dining set
A 6-seater fits comfortably in a 10x12 foot room and suits most households of 4-6 people. It's the most common size we build for apartments and mid-sized homes across Islamabad.
The 8-seater dining set
An 8-seater needs roughly 12x14 feet of room or more and suits larger families, joint households, or anyone who regularly hosts guests for meals.

Room size needed: 6-seater fits smaller rooms comfortably; 8-seater needs a genuinely large dining area. Price: 8-seater sets run higher due to the extra chairs and larger table. Everyday practicality: a 6-seater is easier to keep fully used in a smaller household.
A quick rule of thumb
If your household regularly sits down together at 6 or fewer, or your room is on the smaller side, go 6-seater. If you frequently host extended family or guests, the 8-seater earns its space.
