Why dining set pricing is mostly about chair count
Unlike beds or wardrobes, dining set cost scales almost linearly with chair count — each chair adds its own frame, joinery, and upholstery cost, so an 8-seater isn't just a bigger table.
4-seater sets (from PKR 150,000)
Suited to smaller dining areas or apartments. Includes a compact table and four matching chairs, usually with lighter carving to keep the footprint and price down.
6-seater sets (PKR 190,000-260,000)
The most common size for Islamabad family homes. Adds two chairs and typically a slightly larger table with more detailed leg and apron carving.
8-seater sets (PKR 280,000+)
Built for larger dining rooms or households that host regularly. Often paired with a matching cabinet or showcase, and priced up further if the table extends or includes a glass top.
What else changes the price
Chair upholstery (fabric vs cushioned wood seat), whether the table has a glass top, and carving depth on the table legs all move the price independently of seat count.
Getting the right size for your room
