About colour change and refinishing
Moving house or redecorating often leaves good furniture in the wrong colour. Solid wood can be refinished rather than replaced.
Going darker is straightforward. Going lighter needs the old stain stripped fully, and the result depends on the wood; we show you a sample before committing.

Can dark furniture be made lighter?
Often, but not always to a very pale shade. A test area shows what the wood allows.
Can you match a colour from a photo?
Approximately. A physical sample is more reliable, and we test before finishing.
How long does re-polishing take?
A single piece usually takes 3 to 5 working days in the workshop. A full room set is quoted with a timeline before we start.
Can you match my other furniture?
Yes. We test the shade on a hidden area and show you before polishing the whole piece.
